Le Macaron is a new shop in The Promenade at Coconut Creek. It's a very sweet addition to the many delicious restaurants there. As you would expect by their name they specialize in macaron cookies. They also sell chocolates, gelato, and teas. I love cookies, and macarons are among my favorites. I went there last night and it was a treat to sit in one of their comfortable chairs, sip a cup of tea, and enjoy a few macarons. They have lots of flavors. I tried the salted caramel, Belgian chocolate, coconut cream, and orange chocolate grand marnier. They were very lite, very sweet, and very decadent. I wish the macarons were larger. They're expensive for a small cookie, and after two or three little bites they're gone. A single macaron costs $2.30. The shop is very pretty and clean. The cookies, candy and gelato are beautifully displayed in glass showcases. There are places to sit in the shop or outside near the entrance. With so many restaurants nearby, this will be a convenient after dinner stop for dessert and a cup of tea.

Surprised to see the not so good reviews.. The only macaron place I've found in the area . The place is super cute and girly! They have a big chandelier and glitzy decor. The macaroons and chocolates are really delicious but pretty pricey. They also have some gelato/ice creams . I passed by after dinner at ethos and it was the perfect place for a latte and a dessert. They also have cute macaroon merchandise like keychain a etc.

I've been here 3 times. Each time I have bought macaroons one has been too cold and hard. I finally inquired and apparently they are made in Sarasota, Florida and shipped to them. I'd much rather have freshly made macaroons. The hazelnut one is always hard but the vanilla one I've had once was good. I also recommend the basil one of you like basil. They bring their gelato in from France once a month. Pretty cool! Stop and try for yourself.

Excellent little yummy delights! We tried several different macarons and gelato. All were very good. We have food allergies in our family so I was delighted with finding Le Macaron! All macarons are gluten free and they even have a few that are dairy free too. The decor is pink, Parisian and cute. They serve coffee including nespresso. The man running the store was very polite and informative. They are a bit pricey but we are used to it with all the special allergy needs.

The macarons are great here! This is the only place in town that I've found that has macarons. Don't be fooled by Yelp. This store is actually open on weekends!

I have a, shall we say, "complicated" relationship with macarons. I love them... when they are made properly. And let's face it, they're just too darn expensive to compromise in that area. I was excited to see Le Macaron open up in the Promenade, and against my better judgement walked out with 6 macarons and a bank account $17 poorer. These little morsels are pricey at around $2.50 apiece, but they are a little larger than your run-of-the-mill macarons. It was a mercilessly hot day, and the fillings started to melt quickly despite me traveling in a cold, air-conditioned car. Here's the problem with these little bites: because they're so darn expensive, I naturally want to hold onto them and savor them. But unless they're very fresh when you buy them, they will turn hard fairly quickly. And, if what Michelle M. said in her review is correct about them being made in Sarasota and shipped, you will have no real way of knowing how fresh these actually are. Honestly, them being shipped from elsewhere makes sense... this store is huge and airy, and I couldn't fathom that there was enough room in the back to make these in-house. Sure enough, of the six I bought, two were fairly hard (the ginger chocolate one was a rock, while the hazelnut was a little bit softer but still not the right consistency). The vanilla, gingerbread, coconut and grand marnier were fine, with the vanilla one thankfully maintaining its softness days later. The ones that were still fresh were admittedly delicious, and the lady behind the counter was a soft-spoken French woman who was helpful and friendly. For these reasons, I'll return, but for the price, I'm only going to allow myself to buy one or two at a time so I don't end up disappointed.

Beautiful tasty macarons. It's a great looking shop that had a wonderful opening party. They had champagne and delicious pastries. I thought I was in Paris. Great photographs and artwork on the walls added to the ambience. Macarons in the cases were impossible to resist. I'll be back!!!

I have had the dis fortune of encountering the owner of this horrific place! He is clearly not accustomed to American service and has no regard on how to treat people courteously. He is rude, obnoxious, and a disgraceful representation of a man. Unfortunately his arrogance will not be received lightly by this area and I predict this place will be lucky to last another year. The nice thing about south Florida is we don't stand for maltreatment and will make sure you are outed for your behavior!

The place is pretty and so is their food. I love macarons and I'm usually very picky on them. The "pastry" itself is very good, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, it could be a little less cracking and more melting, but it tastes just perfect. The fillings are good but could be better, first of all you sgouldn't eat as soon as you get out from the store since they are too cold in there! The white chocolate lavender was my favorite, followed by raspberry and chocolate praliné. Rose was also good, white chocolate basil though I would definetely not recomend and the chocolate salted caramel, wich was my biggest expectation, I couldn't even finish eating, it was too salty and kind of biter. Never again. But would definetely come back for the lavender and raspberry.

Excellent macarons and gelato. Small menu of French bakery items. Very friendly. Great decor and ambience. Macarons make great gifts. They sell in boxes of 12, 24 and 36.

The guy behind the counter was I'm assuming the owner a French guy he was very rude made no courtesy to give us a sample. We bought a mirage and it was gross as hell and we even told it to him and threw it out in the store and he totally didn't care. Didn't even try to help, no customer service whatsoever. Seems like he has no business doing anything with customers involved. No respect no service don't care about the product.

One of the best macaroons here in Florida , after being in Paris and. Tasting la furre and Pierre hemaie They compare to the Pierre hermaie in that the cookie is flavored as well as the filling unlike la furre which the colonies are all the same; a must try
